Showroom

Built after the 1923 grouping of the railways to the 'Big Four', No.62690 was one of the improved GCR 'Director' class that found their way to Scotland where the previous North British Railway Company had a motive power shortage. Largely successful this and many of the class lasted to the 1960's. Our model here is well-made example of a David Andrews kit, tastefully weathered in lined black with with early BR crest. An excellent smooth runner.
