With production dating back to 1962 the Class 73 electro-diesels are amongst the longest serving locomotives on Britain's railways. Still in service with a number of operators they are a testament to the quality of the original design and build. Heljan's model is an excellent representation of the original and is portrayed here in classic BR Blue with factory weathering.
