The English Electric Type 4 diesels introduced from the late 1950's were overall a successful design and lasted in service in to the 1980's. Heljan's model (item no. 40511) faithfully reproduces this version and is offered here in BR Blue, the colour scheme which perhaps suited this class the best. In overall very good condition the model has the usual smooth Heljan running characteristics.

Model in very good overall condition with one cab window and one engine room window missing. The model also has some glue stains to where the etched grills have been applied. The model also has a small glue stain to one nose end |
