Once a common sight on BR metals with over 500 class members, the Class 47 was one of the most successful of the First Generation diesels. Heljan's model superbly evokes the character of the prototype; this model (item no. 4850) is from the latest tooling and features an excellent DCC sound package on a large-scale Loksound decoder.
