The GWR introduced its stylish diesel railcars from 1933. Initial class members featured elegant streamlined bodywork, but from the nineteenth example onwards, this was abandoned in favour of a more angular design. These later railcars also featured steam heating, both for themselves and any trailing vehicles attached. Heljan's model (item no. 1900) represents no. 22, which is finished in chocolate and cream livery and features a smooth and powerful mechanism. The model appears here in excellent condition.
