Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Three of these locomotives were built for the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway in 1898, with a fourth following in 1925. Unfortunately all of the originals were scrapped after the closure of the railway in 1935, with one being lost in Brazil. But a new-build engine has now entered service, with a second under construction.
This model is a smooth and powerful runner; it features an LGB chassis together with kit- and scratch-built bodywork.
In-house weathering by Neil Armitage is available to any Darstaed product, and some of our upcoming Ellis Clark Trains products. Neil has a fantastic reputation and has produced some stunning customised items. All his work is bespoke and items can be weathered as lightly or heavily as you wish.
