Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Featuring Masterpiece Models' renowned all-brass construction and excellent levels of detail, this is an excellent representation of the GWR's 4 cylinder swan song.
Built in 1930 as part of the 30 strong class of Kings designed for the GWR's top express services, 'King Richard II' was allocated to Old Oak Common and Laira Sheds all its working life. Sadly like with 27 of her other classmates she was withdrawn in 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Three Kings have been preserved, these being class pioneer 'King George V', 'King Edward I' and 'King Edward II'.
