Built by Bombardier from 2005 onwards the Class 140 Electrics were a part of the TRAXX program of locomotive building. Used primarily on freight services they were and still are a common sight on the railways of Switzerland and bordering countries. The model from MTH is an excellent representation of the type with a host of extra features including DCC Sound, switching for pantograph collection and three-rail operation.
