William Stanier's 'go anywhere, do anything' Black 5s were the LMS and Midland regions mixed traffic motive power of choice covering all corners of Britain's railway network. This example No. 45367 was constructed at Armstrong Whitworth Works in 1937, and was allocated firstly to Accrington and Huddersfield Hillhouse Sheds before spending the rest of its working life in Scotland. Lasting in service until 1963, the locomotive was later scrapped.
Featuring all-brass construction and excellent detail, this example has been wonderfully decorated and lined and is in near-mint condition.
