Sancheng models of the Stanier 8F are increasingly difficult to find, so we are delighted to offer this excellent in-house weathered version in BR Black with Late Crests. Featuring all-brass construction, excellent detailing and a smooth and powerful mechanism, the model here is in wonderful near-mint condition.
This example No. 48394 was part of the Horwich Works order constructed in 1945 and was firstly allocated to Normanton Shed. Lasting in service until 1967, the locomotive was withdrawn and later scrapped from Royston Shed.
