Constructed from a brass kit of unknown origin, this example of a LMS 2P has been finished as no. 565 and requires attention to its grub screw/gearbox.
Fowler's Class 2P locomotives were introduced by the LMS in 1928 and intended primarily for light passenger work. This attractive model, of brass construction has been finished in LMS Lined Black as No. 565.

Model in good overall condition with various areas of solder flashing on joins between parts of the model. There are also a few chips to across the models paintwork and there is a slight bow to the locomotives running plate. The tender also sits too high on the leading axle |
