On the back of our ‘Dubdee’ update last month, it made sense to put you in the picture regarding how our other projects are progressing (the ones we can tell you about, anyway!) So here’s the latest timeline:

OO Gauge LMS 42ft GUV  February 2027

As a non-powered model, this one’s shoehorned its way up the queue. As you’ll have seen from our announcement, the GUVs are fully tooled, and we’re delighted with the first samples. The next stage is decorated samples (arriving early autumn), and subject to pucka paint jobs, they’ll take a production slot at the end of the year, with delivery next February. It’s one of the benefits of having no wires, chips, circuit boards, mechanisms, lights, capacitors, speakers…

O Gauge Pug February 2027

The Pugs have had a smooth development ride so far. They’ve stormed through tooling, and our first full running sample should arrive at the end of September. Although we’d aimed to deliver the first Pugs by the end of this year, they’re using the same assembly line as our OO Gauge Austerities. The latter – having been announced in late 2023 – are taking priority and will occupy most of this year’s remaining production slots. The Pugs also have to be fully tested to ensure they integrate with Nexus and live up to our performance standards. Assuming this goes smoothly, our factory will start making Big Pugs in December, with delivery in February.

OO Gauge Pug April 2027

Running samples of these are due towards the end of next month – and like their big sisters, they’re making excellent progress. They’ll follow the big ‘uns, and there’ll obviously be far more of them. As they’ll be the first models to sport the ‘small’ version of our Nexus decoders, we also need to ensure that these work perfectly, so that our Little Pugs can sing. But sing they shall, and if you can hang on to your hats until just after Easter next year, you won’t be too far off.

OO Gauge GWR Mink G April/May 2027

Like the GUVs, these are fully tooled, with decorated samples likely before the end of the year. They’ll arrive hot on the heels of the OO Gauge Pugs next spring.

So there you have it. As ever, dates can be a little fluid as we tweak and twizzle in pursuit of perfection. One thing we can promise is that during the time period covered by this update, our family of projects will have grown once again, with lots of exciting news over the next few months!
