Constructed from a ACME kit and decorated by Richard Pogson, this example of the LMS' powerful rebuilt Royal Scot has been finished as no. 46137 'The Prince of Wales Volunteers South Lancashire' with BR Early Crests. Weathered in-house by Faye Moore, the model has also received a gloss finish to its paintwork.
Constructed in 1927 no. 46137 spent 35 years racing along the West Coast, spending time at Carlisle Upperby, Crewe North, Longsight and Trafford Park Sheds before withdrawal and later scrapping in 1962.
