Constructed and decorated to a high standard, this excellent depiction of Robinson's A5 has been finished as No. 69807 from a MSC Models kit.
Introduced in 1911 by John Robinson, 44 of these heavy tank locomotives were constructed for suburban workings across the GCR network. The class under LNER ownership became especially associated with trains on the challenging Scarborough to Whitby route. This example No. 69807 was constructed in 1911 and was allocated to Neasden and Colwick Sheds until withdrawal and latter scrapping in 1958.
